Why do people choose to become interim managers? There is no simple answer to this question but the important point to note is they have all made a conscious decision to work as an interim manager and embrace the lifestyle that brings.

This is not suited to everyone. For example there can sometimes be large gaps in-between assignments, little or no job security and no corporate benefits. Of course there are a number of positive reasons for choosing to be an interim manager flexibility, challenge and independence.
