Personal Characteristics
There are three particular attributes that characterise the business owner
and set them apart from others in business:
- > independence;
- > entrepreneurship; and
- > personal involvement.
This is not amateur psychology, simply a recognition that certain attitudes help to differentiate leaders of private businesses.
If you have a substantial stake in the organisation that you run, you will define your independence, entrepreneurship and personal involvement differently from others.
Born, taught, sought or driven by necessity, these characteristics are apparent
in every business owner/driver irrespective of the business sector or the scale
of the enterprise.
And that’s it. Understanding these three elements will help us to relate more quickly to you.
