Award for Tenon chairman
On 31 January Tenon’s Chairman, Bob Morton was named Chairman of the Year at the prestigious, Quoted Company Awards which is backed by the Financial Mail.
On receiving the award Bob said, ‘All our businesses are trading extremely well despite concerns of an economic downturn”
Morton continued on a personal note, ‘2007 was a wonderful year for me not just with my work but also with my first love, greyhound racing’. Last May, Bob celebrated a win for his dog Westmead Hawk in the English Greyhound Derby for the third successive year. He received another award by the Variety Club for his contribution to greyhound racing. His champion dog, ‘The Hawk’ became the first animal to be made into a wax work at Madame Tussauds.
