Achieving a National Business Award is recognised as the highest business accolade in the UK and the awards programme is supported by The Daily Telegraph & The Sunday Telegraph as the media sponsors. This is the second year Tenon has sponsored the awards.

The 2007 Tenon Award for Entrepreneurial Spirit was won by Summit Media, the UK’s leading internet marketing and e-commerce specialist.

Hedley Aylott, its managing director, said, “When we entered this award, then in its first year, we thought the criteria fitted Summit Media to a tee. They were looking for dynamic companies with creative, entrepreneurial drive, skilled at adapting to market changes quickly and succinctly and a record of identifying and exploiting market opportunities. We thought it was tailor-made for us to win – and I’m delighted that the judges agreed!"
